A propulsive rhythm section (courtesy of Alix & Jake) guides sparse and angular guitar licks while maintaining a DIY punk backbone. Singer/guitarist Lauren Owen brings an angsty, yet calm vocal effect to the fold, built upon the tradition of past dark & dire postpunk singers. This phenomenal band, with members located in Chicago and Carbondale IL, are taking the gothic/postpunk/darkwave revival and reinventing it into their own excellently dark sound.
